Biography
Dr. Alessandro Stasi is an Associate Professor in Law at Mahidol University International College (MUIC), where he also chairs the Business Administration Division. As an external academic consultant, he provides research-based expertise and academic insight in business and commercial law.
He read law at the University of Naples Federico II in Italy and holds an LLM (Merit) together with two doctorates: a Ph.D. in Bankruptcy Law (University of Naples Federico II) and a Ph.D. in Insolvency Law (University of Nice Sophia Antipolis). Before joining MUIC, he held academic posts at Ramkhamhaeng University, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Chiang Mai University.
His teaching and research span civil and commercial law, intellectual property, biotechnology and medical law, and the regulation of emerging technologies. He is the author of several books and numerous peer-reviewed articles, including English-language references on the principles of Thai private and civil law among the few works of their kind in the field.
He is a native Italian speaker and is fluent in French, English, and Thai.
